Description
For sale is an exceptionally well-presented Porsche 911 Carrera 3. 0, first registered in Germany in 1977, finished in a highly attractive and period-correct specification: silver with blue accents inside and out, including blue Carrera script and blue Fuchs wheels.
Today, the Carrera 3. 0 is regarded as one of the most desirable early G-series 911s and an important link between the Carrera 2. 7 RS and the early Turbo models. Featuring the lightweight aluminium engine case and low production numbers, it has become an increasingly collectible air-cooled Porsche.
The car was restored from the ground up approximately four years ago. During the restoration, the engine was comprehensively rebuilt with upgraded pistons and more aggressive camshafts. Combined with a sports exhaust and slightly uprated suspension setup, the result is a very responsive, free-revving and engaging Carrera 3. 0 with a distinctly sporting character and excellent sound.
The interior remains true to the era, featuring blue tartan upholstery, a Momo steering wheel and a retro-style Blaupunkt radio with modern Bluetooth technology and discreetly integrated upgraded audio system. The original steering wheel is included with the car.
