Description

Classic Porsche 911T LWB

We are very pleased to present this beautiful Ossi Blue 1969MY 911T. This fine example retains many of its original features, with the exception of the steel wheels, now replaced by period correct Fuchs, 6×15’s. In addition to the wheel upgrade it is also equipped with the much sought after wooden rimmed VDM steering wheel and deletion of the front bumper horns by the current owner. This car has been meticulously maintained with no expense spared. Always garaged and only used in dry conditions, it is a truly wonderful example of a usable classic.

Ownership History
Originally supplied to the USA, the current owner bought the car from a renowned European dealer based in Holland in 2014.

Limited USA service history, but comprehensive service folder is available from the UK ownership.

Engine & Drive-train
During the Car's life in the USA the engine case has been replaced and when carrying out our pre sale inspection, Jaz Porsche have confirmed it to be a period correct 1968 casting date, which is correct for 1969 MY.

The car is currently running PMO carburetors which were fitted during its time in the USA, for better engine running and easy starting.

The chassis is in excellent condition, with no visible signs of rust anywhere. Windows, seals and chrome trim are all appear to be original and in good condition.  The car has recently been professionally rustproofed with under seal. The exterior paintwork is in excellent condition.

The Fuchs wheels are not original to this car, but are original period correct with just a few minor scratches , apart from some slight damage on the Drivers front Fuch wheel rim. Period correct new Vredestein  185/ 70 R15 tyres have been fitted all around and remain in as good condition. The brakes are good as you would expect, with a solid brake feel. Handling is pin sharp, as you would expect from a  car of this class.

Interior
The interior is mainly original with little sign of wear.  The original headlining is unmarked and The “Salt and Pepper” wool carpets appear to be a very good high quality replacement and are in excellent, unworn condition throughout. The front seats are in superb condition and have been re bolstered by top Classic Porsche Trimmers, Neil Tadman of Autos interiors. The dashboard is perfect. The door trims are in superb condition with no sag on the storage bins. Prior to its importation to the UK, inertia reel seat belts were fitted and these have recently been replaced by us at Jaz Porsche.
