Description
This Rover P6 3500 is from the first generation; the difference with the later models relates to the aluminium grille with prominent badge, flat bonnet, aluminium trim strip above the headlights, narrow trim strips on the sides, colour-matched roof and side panels. The odometer is of the "ribbon" type.
This P6 has been fitted by our company with a Land Rover V8 4. 0 litre engine which really comes into its own in this relatively lightweight Rover P6.
The engine has also been modified with electronic ignition, a modern alternator and an electric fuel pump. Originally, the Series 1 P6 was not equipped with power steering, however this P6 has been modified to include power steering.
Both front seats have been recently reupholstered, and the carpeting has been replaced.
A 4. 0 litre Rover V8 in a P6 is very pleasant to experience thanks to its smoothness.
