1972 Rover 2000 SC Automatic, unfinished restoration, 3 Previous Owners, 83, 503 Miles.
Historic Vehicle.
Full glass out and all panels removed including roof for restoration in original Mexico Brown.
New front and rear screen seals, new original specification sunroof vinyl fully operational, new automatic transmission pan gasket, oil and kick-down cable, replacement refurbished cylinder head, new ignition coil and electronic ignition.
The interior is in very good condition but does require finishing and will need replacement old stock or new passenger floor carpet. The front seats require some restoration and the rear seats are good as are the door panels and fittings. The headlining is original in excellent condition with no damage and the sunroof lining is also excellent and fully operational with the original wind deflector.
Steering, suspension, transmission and brakes are all good and fully serviceable as are the tyres.
Please note: The engine requires refreshing and remains partially dismantled with the cylinder head removed. It has had a replacement radiator, engine side plates and coolant pump previously along with new front brake callipers and tyres before being taken off the road for restoration.
All the parts are present including the refurbished and original cylinder heads, new gaskets and ignition parts etc.
The car has been dry stored since the restoration began in 2022 and is currently located near Canterbury, Kent.
