Low mileage Ford Probe 16V in good condition. The car has recently had new brakes, a new cam belt, a new clutch, new plugs and leads, and a new alternator/ water pump belt. All electrics are working, and the car is fun to drive. The paint is in generally good condition, as are the grey cloth seats. One wheel arch shows a tide mark from a repair. The car comes with two keys, an owners' handbook, a Ford tech manual and a Haynes manual, along with spare hatchback struts.

The Probe was not popular in the UK when new. The name didn't help! But it is in fact a good looking car with enjoyable driving characteristics, comfortable seats, a large boot, and decent fuel economy. It has classic features such as pop up headlamps, but also modern features such as airbags and ABS. Japanese engine and running gear plus Ford styling and suspension make for a reliable and fun package. A cheap and entertaining way into classic 90s motoring.
