I bought this vehicle on 6/ 03/ 2019 and after numerous mechanical problems I had it reconditioned by a Peugeot Classic Specialist “Rétro Méca” who overhauled it completely and made it reliable, and since then it runs very well. Therefore this car is geared towards an enthusiast who is looking for a vehicle with a minimum of problems and unpleasant surprises as I have experienced. I am selling it because I no longer drive enough and I am looking for an enthusiast who would continue to take care of it.
The restoration costs amount to €8, 541. 36 and all works are justified by invoices:
- New fuel tank, new electric pump, injector check, new fuel lines, complete service of the injection pump, radiator + hoses + water pump + belts, installation of electronic ignition + coil + spark plugs, exchange of steering universal joint, replacement of all front axle bushings, replacement of front track rods with front axle alignment, brakes refurbished with distributor replacement, replacement of anti-veer tie rods, replacement of the four brake hoses + replacement of handbrake cable and brake checks, exhaust silencer replacement, restoration of heating controls and dashboard lighting, alternator restoration, the battery was just changed in March 2026.
The engine had been changed in 1983 (ES). The bodywork, paint, interior and accessories are very clean.
The TRX tyres were changed at 155, 200 km, the last service was carried out at 163, 331 km on 01/ 08/ 2025.
An appraisal was carried out on 28/ 01/ 2020 valuing this vehicle at €22, 000 and this full report will be handed to the new owner. This vehicle is aimed at an enthusiast who seeks a car in good general condition owing to its extensive mechanical restoration justified by professional invoices.
