I bought this vehicle on 6/ 03/ 2019 and after numerous mechanical problems I had it refurbished by a Peugeot Classic Specialist "Rétro Méca" who serviced it completely and made it reliable, and since then it runs very well, so this car is aimed at a enthusiast who is looking for a vehicle with minimum problems and unpleasant surprises like I have known. I am selling it because I no longer drive enough and I need space.
The costs of restoring it amount to €8, 541. 36 and all works are justified on invoices:
- New fuel tank, new electric fuel pump, injector check, new fuel lines, complete revision of injection pump, radiator + hoses + water pump + belts, installation of electronic ignition + coil + plugs, steering column exchange, replacement of all front suspension bushes, replacement of front ball joints with front-end alignment, brake overhaul including exchange of distributor, replacement of anti-dive joints, replacement of the four brake hoses, replacement of exhaust silencers, restoration of heating controls and dashboard lighting, alternator refurbishment,
The engine had been replaced in 1983 (ES), the bodywork, paint, interior and accessories are very clean.
The TRX tyres were replaced at 155, 200 km, the last service was carried out at a workshop at 163, 331 km on 1 August 2025.
An appraisal was carried out on 28 January 2020 valuing this vehicle at €22, 000 and this full report will be handed to the new owner.
The MOT has been passed.
The registration document is in my name, this vehicle runs regularly and is stored dry in a garage and covered; I am available for any further information.
