Attractions

There are good reasons why British gangsters preferred to use S-Types to get away from police. Equipped with the Mk2’s eager 3.8-litre engine making 220 bhp and the E-Type’s independent rear suspension, it was quicker and more nimble than any other four-door saloon of its day. It was, in every sense, a four-door E-Type.

That said, production was in very small numbers, and today the surviving cars are extremely rare. We’re therefore delighted to offer this gorgeous 1965 S-Type, presented in excellent condition and in a particularly desirable trim. Visually, it pairs classic Old English White paint with a black leather interior, and under the bonnet sits the famous 3.8-litre XK engine mated to a fully synchronized four-speed manual gearbox with the much sought-after overdrive.

This car was restored a few years ago, but even today it still looks remarkably well. You can tell it’s been looked after from the start by its four previous owners; the last of whom has kept it with him since 2010.

We’ve been assured that it’s in excellent condition and is offered with an MOT valid until March 2028. This is a truly outstanding example of a superb saloon.
