The Appeal

Normally we’d start by telling you just how good the 330 E46 is, but this example has a trump card, and if you’ve seen the photos and know your BMWs then you’ll already have sussed it. For everyone else, it’s the beautiful MORA mauve paintwork, a very expensive special order finish with a heavy metallic finish to make the colour ‘pop’. Beautiful as it is, the price premium put people off, and reports suggest less than 100 non-M3 buyers ticked the option box.

The car is supplied with matching hard top and the paint is complemented by a special order cream leather interior. The car is mechanically standard but fitted with a set of 5 Series Alpina alloys and a CarPlay system. It is all, as you can see in the photos, in really good order for a car of this age.

Purchased by the current vendor in August 2024, the car was promptly sent to Williams BMW in Manchester for a thorough service and inspection, with new tyres also fitted. It also benefits from new calipers all round. With its MOT running until April 2027, this very rare and sought-after 330Ci convertible presents well and is worth a closer look.
