First registered in 1978 new in the UK, which is quite rare in itself, and she's been with the same owner ever since covering only 19, 028 miles. That's a nice history but it doesn't tell the whole story and we've had her in Classic Bike Workshop for a little more than the average recommissioning work after a long time unused. Now very close to standard specification except the excellent NLM stainless 2-1 exhaust system which does sound good. Work has included head refurbishment, hydraulics, cam belt, oils and filters and the tank has been cleaned and lined with POR15 ethanol-proof sealant. Lots of detail improvements including replacement fuel taps and lines have lifted it to a pleasant standard of original, largely unrestored and overall very good condition, no better than that. The wheels let it down although the front has been fitted with brand new twin-discs which look great and do the job very well indeed. V5C tells you all you need to know; matching numbers, UK and one owner. Not much else in the way of paperwork except a current MOT. Ready to ride and/ or restore as you wish.
