First registered in August of 1947. This rover 12 comes to us in superb mechanical condition with a lusty 2. 2 litre 6 cylinder engine that starts instantly & pulls strongly allowing 60 MPH cruising. The gear box is a synchromesh 4 speed unit that is a pleasure to use. It exhibits good oil pressure at over 40lbs when under load.
The car is finished in Masons black paintwork which polishes up to a deep shine whilst also allowing its lovely patina of age to show. Inside the car has been re-upholstered in brown leather with matching brown carpets. The woodwork is also in fine order throughout. A large sunroof slides easily open for semi alfresco motoring.
The boot has the spare wheel mounted in a recess covered by a hatch. It is spacious allowing for a good deal of luggage. The bodywork on the car is a semi streamlined design & is very period looking.
This is a car in fine order thoughout & really needs to be driven to appreicate how good it is. It is in stock now & ready for test drives.
