Hi and welcome to my auction for my future classic Rover 620 ti.
Its a 1998 with under 102000 miles on the clock and is one of less than 70 currently on UK roads, rare and getting rarer !
MOT until 6. 8. 19
For those who don't know, this is Rovers Q car, 197bhp 0. 60 in 6. 7 seconds and 145mph. But looks like your Dads company car. Great for p*** ing off GTI's !!
My brother bought the car last year and has spent a few months doing a few necessary jobs to get her back on the road after not being run for a year or so - she now runs beautifully, drives incredibly well, very quick, brakes are good, no pulls and no noises from the suspension. Engine is amazing, pulls like a train all through the rev range.
The car has had new discs and pads all round for MOT, new (18. 8. 18) tyres all round plus tracking etc all checked, new middle and rear exhaust sections, will come with a new electric aerial (easy to fit), keys including original red master one and some history. A recent owner spent a bunch of money having the head removed and re-ground plus gaskets etc so it should be good for many thousands of miles yet. Cambelt, water pump and new radiator fitted by previous owner less than a thousand miles ago. Receipts to prove.
Bodywork is basically very good, two points requiring attention are the bottom of the n/ s rear wheel arch which needs some work and the rear wing which needs the laquer redoing (see photos for details. Otherwise paint is fine. Original and correct 620 ti wheels.
All electrics work as they should including the sunroof, something of a miracle in old rovers ! A nice after market CD player has been fitted.
Interior is good, one or two small defects like the drivers glove box needs fixing in but the leather seats are good and wood work is nice.
Basically a really good ti which can be driven (fast) as it is or with a small amount of work could be brought up to a really nice standard. I'm only using it for work, 3 miles a day, it needs to be used more.
