Here for sale is a mr2 mk1b aw11 in white. I purchased this as a project to work on in my spare time, shortly after purchasing it my family circumstances changed and I will no longer be able to complete it as a project.
This mr2 is a lady owned (for the majority of its life) mark 1b mr2 club member/ enthusiast kept vehicle, in 2011 it had a near full restoration back down to essentially a bare shell and was fully resprayed to factory spec including the decals (receipt included in paper work- total cost £4800) This car does start but has a noise which comes from within the engine, but oil pressure is actually good & the car essentially & fundamentally still runs and drives (although it will need attention, it can be moved short distances) the underside of this car though will require some attention as it needs some welding, like so many at this price range do, however with the work thats been put into the body with the restoration and the excellent condition of the interior, this is one of the better options when looking to purchase one of these at this end of the market.
the car comes with a full v5 registered to me and key. it is standard apart from the stereo and a stainless wolfrace exhaust system which is in excellent condition (gives out a standard sounding exhaust note too)
The cars are being listed for the price on this advert to give the buyer a reasonably priced start to aw11 ownership given it will require either some time (if you work on cars yourself) or a price you can work with given the attention this car will need. As im sure you know if you are looking at this you will be aware of the price of these cars on the road with mot, its anywhere between £3000-£5000, see for yourself with a quick search. The potential for someone to make money on this is clear due to the fact this is probably the best example to work with in comparison to other examples of this car at this price. I would do this myself if i didn't need the room and I had the time.
