With coachwork by Park Ward. Chassis Number BC72BY. This is an extremely rare model because this body style was only mounted on the Bentley S2 Continental chassis - no Rolls-Royce equivalent exists. The coachwork is finished in metallic green with a recently fitted green hood and excellent green leather interior trim and green carpets. This subtle colour scheme is most pleasing on the eye. In recent years the bodywork has had a bare metal repaint with photos on record. It is very original and untampered with. On the road the car is very responsive in all respects and is a pleasure to drive. The comprehensive service history file goes back to the 1980's in which P & A Wood feature heavily. In 2018 the car received in excess of £17, 000 worth of service and maintenance by ex P & A Wood engineer Mark Taylor, Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialist of Chichester. It has just had a engine re-build, front suspension re-build, hood mechanism re-build, gearbox re-build, brake overhaul plus engine bay detailing costing approximately £40, 000 with Mark Taylor. This now represents a well presented and very sensibly priced Bentley Continental convertible. The private number plate WEL2 is not available with this car.
