1987 FORD ESCORT RS TURBO
Fresh into stock with us this week is this amazing escort rs turbo. Sold by the previous owner with a very heavy heart as he needed to free up some capital as he will be unable to use the car over the next year or so due to having impending major surgery.
This car was his absolute pride and joy and those familiar with the irish car scene will no doubt recognise the car as he is a regular attendee on the show scene.
This is a very clean vehicle indeed with no signs of an rust whatsoever on the body, spare wheel well, battery tray, sills, chassis.
The current mileage is 106000 and I have a stamped service booklet containing eight stamps up to 76k miles as well as the other original manuals .
The interior is in wonderful original condition although he has added a few upgrades which may not be too everyones taste. The original ford radio is present. The only thing that lets the interior down is there is a very small amount of wear to the edge of the drivers seat but I have my trimmer attending to this this week. The cushions and squabs on all four seats are perfect.
The engine bay is absolutely outstanding as you can probably see from the pictures, thousands have been spent getting it to look this good, if I were to be hyper critical I would probably change the front headlights as there is a small amount of corrosion to the outside of the reflectors due to age which I noticed as the rest looks so good!
The car will be supplied with a full years MOT.
