1988 Aprilia Tuareg 350 Wind
New Cambelt, Oil Filter, Oil, Iridium Sparkplug, Front Brake pads, fuel tap and headlights, had full engine service last year and its done about 70 miles since then.
The bike handles, brakes, accelerates as it should and all the electrics all work
Great bike, ideal for A & B roads and country lanes, High seat and upright seating position gives a great view over the countryside.
Bike is in good condition for its age , it has got some scratches on the plastics and could do with a new fly screen
Mileage on the bike is 49950 Km which is about 31, 000 miles
This is a rare bike, only seen one other advertised in the last two years, spares not a problem as lots of second hand parts on ebay. Its got a Rotax engine so lots of new Rotax parts available as this engine is used in the Harley Davidson MT350, Armstrong, CCMs as well as Aprilia
Everything works well apart from the electric starter, its got a kick start so this isn't a major issue, starts 3 or 4th kick (first / second kick when the bike is used a bit more often) , you can use the bike as is no problem but if you do want the electric start it requires a replacement sprag clutch, its a £150 part.
Logbook / V5 is in my name, HPI Clear
Mot expired August 2019, Will put 12 months mot on for new owner or you can mot yourself and I'll reduce price by £100. Just one advisory on last mot which is a small crack in the rear foot peg mounting plate (see last picture), this is a bolt on item and as I don't carry passengers its not a problem for me, its an easy to change part if its an issue.
