The Alpina B7s turbo is truly an automotive legend. Back in its day there was nothing on the road that could get close in terms of performance, exclusivity or style. Today those last two elements are even more pertinent.
With a worldwide total of just 30 of the (E24 6 series based) B7s turbo coupes manufactured, this beautiful Alpina is surely one of the rarest classics you will ever find – only one other of these cars has come to market in the last 5 years, in the US – with a price tag of $300k. But with 335bhp on tap and 500Nm of torque available at peak revs, the beauty runs way more than skin deep. This is a very fast machine, even by today’s standards.
Our B7s turbo coupe has been beautifully restored. Firstly, in Dubai, it was put through a complete bare metal repaint – there are before, after and during pictures on the link below – as well as a full underside restoration. Having been sent to Munich Legends to deal with the engine and mechanical aspects, we carried out an extensive programme of restoration of the engine and engine bay, suspension, exhaust system and drive train.
The restoration has produced a beautiful result, retaining just enough of the car’s original patina to maintain complete authenticity, and the result is a genuine one off version of this already ‘unicorn’ motor car.
This B7s turbo coupe comes complete with a certificate of authenticity from Alpina, as well as the leather Alpina document wallet and original sales invoice from 08. 06. 82 (just over 90, 000DM, since you ask) when it was delivered new to the first German customer. We will also provide an extensive step-by-step photo library of the B7s turbo’s transition from the beginning to the end of its programme of works.
