Description
Only 100 of these limited edition models were ever made by Norton. This one is number 007. Having 007 chassis number and 007 engine number. I have decided to part with it as I am downsizing my private collection. The bike was supplied by Norton Motors ltd to a Mr J Redfern of Cambridge in April 1988. Mr Redfern (now deceased )sold the machine to his friend Mr E Lynn De-vere of Broadstairs Kent in 1992 with just 00019 miles on the clock. The bike then had it's one and only mot test. The second owner done the remaining 216 miles on the machine . It was then professionally stored following the correct procedure recommended by Norton Motors as written by the factory. I then purchased the bike in 2014 , and have stored as recommended.. as per Norton Instruction. With the bike there is every single piece of corresponence from Norton totaling some 15 letters. I also have the original sales invoices from deposit to final sale. I have the original sale certificate, original Norton classic log book service book signed by the managing director, Director of engineering and the quality control manager of Norton motors . i have the original Norton Classic owners manual and two sets of keys. The bike has now been professinally re commisshioned and is ready for sale. The bike iss in virtually mint condition with no scratches or dents. The engine starts and runs like new. With just 000235 miles on the clock this number 7 of 100 Classic Norton Rotary with matching numbers would be ideal for the collector, shows or museum etc. The bike is near Rochester Kent.
