The SAMMIO ALPHA body conversion is originally designed to fit a Triumph Spitfire but is this case the same body has been retro fitted to a 1985 Reliant SS1 making this car an unique build.
As this is a body conversion the original registration details are retained.
V5, Log Book, has been correctly updated and registered with DVLA as a "Reliant Alpha", body type "Sports".
The donor car is a 1985 Reliant SS1. The build incorporates all the original components including a galvanised chassis, independent all round suspension, Ford 1. 6cc CVH engine (as used in the Ford XR3 and XR2), 5 speed type "9" gearbox, Sierra Rear diff.
The build in general makes a very good conversion with relatively modern mechanics coupled to a classic body style.
The car drives very well with none of the usual rattle and creaks associated with a fibreglass body conversion.
Seats are light weight fiberglass with the driver seat on an adjustable slider.
Paint is Ferrari red "Rossta Cossta"
The car has a current MOT untill August 2020 with no advisories.
