it is with great regret i am selling this car but things that have happened over the past 6 months have changed the way i feel about cars and life. I have simply lost all interest in everything.
every now and again something special, rare and unique comes up for sale.
this car certainly falls into all of the above.
it has covered a genuine mere 10260 miles, full history.
fdh registration plated car, opinions on the fdh story differ so make of this what you will.
the car is in pristine/ concourse condition throughout. It really should be in somewhere like gaydon british car museum.
the car has been stored in an airchamber from new, the previous owner was as ocd as myself. The car has been pampered from day 1.
it comes with all the manuals purchased from rover new at an extra cost. In depth mechanical and electrical files.
factory fitted cd multi changer under the passengers seat.
roof bag.
rare rover coupe original mats, only ever placed in the car when attending shows very rarely. Mats as new.
seats are as new, rears never sat in.
bodywork beautiful and unmarked, lovely shine, only very expensive wax ever been used on the car.
wheels and tyres as new.
under the bonnet clean enough to eat your dinner off.

it really has to be seen to be believed, people who have had the pleasure of seeing the car cannot believe how nice it is.
drives as new, runs like a sewing machine, very fast.
if you think the car is overpriced that is fine but keep your opinions to yourself. You do not have to buy it. I am not interested in what some people may think its worth.
the car has an agreed valuation of £16000, the car has been inspected both on the ground and on a ramp by a representative of my insurance company. Agreed valuation can be proved.
no time wasters or dreamers thinking that they will just turn up to view and drive the car, it simply wont happen.
in fact before anyone is even allowed to view the car, potential buyers must convince me they have the means to buy it.
sorry if this seems harsh but i am only targeting genuine buyers. I wish to eliminate all the time wasters and know it alls.
this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase this very sought after car, especially in this condition with the miles.
this is as close as you will ever get to owning a new rover 220 coupe turbo.
if i do not get my asking price the car will simply stay where its at. Financially i do not need to sell it.
