Description
This very early Austin Seven Ruby Saloon was first registered in December 1935 following its launch in 1934. It is finished in maroon over black with brown interior & fitted with spoked wheels, factory fitted sliding sunroof, opening windscreen, fold out rear luggage rack, self cancelling trafficators & syncromesh on third & fourth gears. The car was subject to a photographic record of a full restoration in the early 1990's including an engine rebuild. Along with the photographs we have previous Mot's going back to 2000 since which the car has only covered 1900 miles, most recently only for attending local classic car meetings. We also have various manuals etc.
This Austin is very solid underneath with a perfect chassis etc with absolutly no rust. The bodywork remains in excellent order as is the interior with very good seats, carpets door cards & headlining. The original spoke wheels are excellent as are the nearly new 'Avon' crossply tyres It drives well & starts on the button The paintwork is presentable for an 85 year old car, not perfect but absolutly no rust.
This really is a cute little car that would be admired at any classic car meeting or show.
