We are proud to offer this delightful 1930 MG M Type which has been the subject of much recent expenditure.
The car was extensively restored a few years ago and this included the fitting of a new body, wings, valences and aprons.
The interior was given much attention with new seats, steering wheel, windscreen and tonneau. The wheels were rebuilt and the instruments restored to full working order.
In 2016 the car changed hands with a damaged (and incorrect) engine. Since then a replacement of the correct type has been sourced and fully rebuilt. The work appears to have been carried out to a high standard and the car now starts instantly and runs very sweetly.
At the same time the electrics were uprated to 12 volt with an electronic regulator and very discrete LED rear lights were added which operate as indicators and additional brake lights. New tyres have also been fitted.
There is a large file accompanying the car containing a large number of invoices, workshop manual, parts book and drawings. There is also a box of spare parts.
This is a lovely example of MGs first Midget and the car that did much to forge MG’s reputation as our most popular sports car manufacturer.
The M Type is eligible for all manner of Vintage events and enjoys excellent spares back up from a number of specialists.
