There are plenty of 135’s on offer, some off farm hacks, some fully restored hugely overpriced shiny ones, but here’s the one you’ve been looking for, totally solid and rot free, in excellent mechanical order, road registered and never been messed with, nothing hidden, nothing to hide, probably the soundest MF135 under £5k on the market.
Starts instantly like a 135 should and runs like a swiss watch. All the gears select easily in both hi & lo, clutch is smooth. Brakes work very well, including the handbrake, you can park it and leave it running on steep hill (see video). Lift arms work quickly, PTO selects easily, fitted with foot throttle, PTO guard, modern tipping pipe and return connections. Tyres are all good with plenty of tread, no slows or leaks, some minor age cracks visible.
Road registered with log book, 1969 model, taxed till 2019 not been sat unused for years, the tractor is complete with its original serial plate showing the correct serial number, first registered in Jan 69 and DVLA checked it was recently part exchanged at a main dealers.
Never been on a scraper, led a charmed life, the wings are solid on both the bottom edges and top flat sections, none of the usual rot on the wing stays or under the window channels, see the pics, clean as a whistle behind the wheels. Fairly straight bonnet with a little nose damage, original front grill and still has the often missing battery cover and lower dash panel.
Has 6773 hours on none working clock, pedal wear would suggest these are not far from the total hours, it keeps excellent oil pressure even when warm (see video), lights not currently working, switch operates but unchecked. Cab is as shown, will keep you out of the weather but no doors included.
A tractor with a lot of potential, will happily work away, travel on road runs as it is, but with a rub down, repaint and couple of replacement badges you’d have a very smart machine for very reasonable money.
