Description
According information supplied to a previous owner by the Ratier Club in France (who are aware of the bike), the bike was delivered to the French CRS (the Compagnies républicaines de sécurité, who are the Central Reserve for the French National Police) on the 20th of December 1957. One of the photographs below shows a Ratier motorcycle in use with the French Police. The machine was imported into the UK some years ago & later registered with the DVLA (registration number 430 XVB). We have also been informed that the engine was completely rebuilt with a new crankshaft & bench tested. There is a VMCC Dating Certificate together with a lot of assorted paperwork. Comes with the latest DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for free road tax & is MOT exempt.
