No expense or effort was spared in the production of these moulds, with long expanses of flat panel down the wings, significant time and effort was taken in getting these perfectly flat to avoid the issues that many fibreglass bodies suffer from with waves and ripples that show in even the dullest of light.
The mould itself was produced for me by X-Sport Racing in Basingstoke who have an enviable track record in producing fibreglass items, and has been built to last with significant ‘plussing up’ to ensure that body pushed out of it will have clean edges for years to come. The body tub is a single-piece construction that is assembled together with collared bolts to ensure perfect alignment every time.
The product has been designed to fit either to a custom space frame chassis with your own running gear, or to a space frame bolted to the chassis of a Triumph Vitesse being classed as a re-body by the DVLA.
In total over 6 months of man effort and >£10k of materials went into the production of the buck and subsequent mould, giving a car body that exceeds the quality of any reproduction.
