Chamberlain built group N car for the late, great Will Hoy's first works drive in the 1985/ 1986 production saloon car championship
Shared with fellow BRDC lifelong members Ray Mallock and Mike Salmon
for the Willhire 24 hrs races 1985 and 1986
Piff (Mountune) -built engine, original alloy cage, bag tank with twin ATL dry break fillers
- just as it left the track in 1986
This is a complete un-restored piece of British motor sport history
The vehicles bodywork is fantastic condition and is in a time warped condition
It has recently been subject to light re-commissioning which included a cam-belt,
oil change and new tyres
At the same time the original registration number was discovered and it was then MOT'd
The vehicle is surprising easy to drive with a smooth gear change and lovely noises
coming from the side draft exhaust and the whoosh from the dump valve
The vehicle has appeared twice in AutoSport in November 1985 and June 1986
The car is showing just over 4600 miles on the odometer
which looking at the condition of the car can only but further confirm
The vehicle offers fantastic value for a genuine Ex works car in full working order
