I have decided to sell my Jawa 360 - I have owned it for five years now and fancy a change. It is a 350cc twin cylinder Model 360 - this model shape was 1964 to 1974 I believe so this is the last of this shape and desing - so it actually looks older than its registration year. Shortly after buying it I rebuilt the engine and renewed other parts including new crank bearings, seals, con rods, rebore, pistons, rings, clutch, clutch springs, gearchange pawl springs, kickstart gear, headstock bearings etc etc and a new modern Vape electronic ignition (which is brilliant - started third kick having been stood for several months), and I have probably ridden a few hundred miles at the most since rebuild. The wheels were rebuilt by the previous owner using MZ alloy rims so the wheels are good with a good set of tyres and when I bought the bike the exhausts were new. Mechanically it is good, but the bodywork and paintwork etc is best described as having 'patina'. It is shiny and presentable making for a bike that is usable without having to be too precious about it. It starts easily - the electronic ignition really helps. Everything works - lights etc, brakes are about as good as they can be which isn't amazing. It rides as one might expect of a sixties/ seventies bike - buzzes along happily at 50 but will go faster. I have the original handbook, parts book, V5 and all the old parts from the rebuild so you can see what has been renewed. Parts are simple to order from - details above but given tht it is mechanically in good shape you won't need to buy much. It is interesting and fun and makes a change from the usual classic bikes at your local bike show and it has a really fabulously styled teardrop engine. The bike is in Sussex England.
