Completely refurbished and recommissioned 2 years ago. Owned for 8 years.
Frame and cycle parts sand blasted, acid etch primed and finished in deep gloss black. Inside of frame Wax Oiled.
Fuel tank cleaned internally, stripped of paint externally, Professionally painted in deep gloss black
Mudguards, side panels and headlight nacelle primed and painted in silver.
Period Rear carrier powder coated.
Handlebars, Tank side panels’ rear brake pedal, headlight rim, rear light wheel spindles, fork top nuts, chain adjusters, brake arms and exhaust down pipes re-chromed at ACF Howell Walsall.
Wheels rebuilt with new rims and stainless steel spokes by Central Wheel Company, Birmingham.
New wheel bearings, tyres, tubes and brake linings.
12 Volt conversion with modern rectifier/ regulator & battery.
Wiring harness refurbished. New indicators fitted.
Engine dismantled, inspected fitted with new piston rings, valves reground, new seals and gaskets.
Crankcase covers polished to satin finish.
Front forks rebuilt, NOS fork sliders, leg hard chromed and reground, new seals and stainless steel dust covers.
Speedometer refurbished by Peter Bond (The Guageman) of London
Rear shocks cosmetically refurbished.
Seat refurbished, base, foam & new cover with gold piping
New air filter fitted.
New control cables.
New foot rest, gear change kick start rubbers and handle bar grips fitted.
New pattern silencers fitted.
New Mirrors.
New period number plates.
