Only 60000 miles from new - fully suported by every mot certificate , original bill of sale and invoice for all major repairs. I have several files full of history for this vehicle that I have owned for over three years. During my ownership the following work has been carried out repacement rear springs and shock absorbers new reaction rod bushes, headlamp reflectors, both rear tail light units, brake master cylnder and brake pads all round. New fuel pump and volvo cambelt fitted 12 months ago . this car starts and runs perfectly and has proved to be 100% reliable for the duration of my ownership (11000 miles )fitted with the 2. 3 litre k red block engine with carburettor and no exhaust cat. The B230Kengine is the only Volvo unit that required no detuning or fuel additives with the introduction of lead free fuels and has the added advantage of being a non interference engine , meaning tha cam belt failure cannot lead to any engine damage. This car is easy to maintain with none of the issues ascoiated with the fuel injection variants. At motorway speed the fuel ecconomy is arround 32 mpg due mainly to the auto box having overdrive. the body work and trim are exceptionly clean finished in grey cloth and blue/ green paint. All trims are in good condition there are no apparent body water leaks or rust. the front screen was replaced about five years ago with the traditional blue top band and this retains a fresh appearance. Tinted glass is fitted all round and the heated rear window works well. A replacement radio / cd player is fitted and the majority of the body paintwork is original factory finish. tyres have been replaced recently and a full optical steering alignment check carried out so the vehicle steers as it should . a full service was carried out at 58800 miles. never had a tow bar fitted. Offered for sale at a price well below some of the other low mileage examples of this marque it represents good motoring value for anybody wanting a reliable classic for every day use. I am open to sensible offers based on the £5k. asking price. Note this car is my every day transport so the mileage will increase.
