Hi,
Never thought I'd end up doing this and it's not been an easy decision at all, but feel the time is right to part with my G40. I've owned this for around 9 years now and I've only done about 8k miles in it during that time. It's been kept in a garage for my entire ownership, this is a genuine reason for sale.
It's a genuine Polo G40 1991 in Tornado Red (LY3D) with glass pop sunroof, paint is all original and so does have age related wear/ tear but it's in great condition.
Please note this is modified so please don't expect a stock example.

It has the VW dealer fitted electric window kit which works as it should.

Has headlight protectors but drivers side does have a crack in it.
Has aftermarket splitter on the front, can be removed.
Has private registration plate 'G40 KCK'
Bad bits/ if I have to be picky
Arches have been rolled and wax oiled to accommodate wider wheels in the past
Exhaust does like to rattle in the exhaust tunnel, it's rock solid if you try move it but has no flexi join where it meets manifold. (Car would ideally benefit from a full new custom system + hangers made up if I'm honest)
Couple of very minor dings and scratches around the car, nothing really that noticeable, it's almost 30 years old though to be fair
Door cards do like to pop out from the bottom clips, they stay on but some people might find this annoying.
I'm sure there's probably some things I've missed, I've always maintained it during my ownership and done any work that's been needed for MOT's over the years.
