1992 Ford Taurus rare in the U. K. A future classic ?
Ex Texas car I believe , it's like a Mondeo grown up ! The Americans made them for years
Large history file with recent tyres , shocks , exhaust & brake parts
78000 miles , mot till end of May 21
Bought by me in July this year for a film job which never happened , the previous owner was so nice I took a chance, bought it unseen & drove it from Glasgow back to London, it was drama free & I enjoyed the trip, it's smooth, comfortable , fast if you want it to be or a relaxed cruiser that's not heavy on fuel , it's not big by American standards so still practical for U. K. Roads or European trips ?
Everything works , well nearly
I don't think the air con works
The arial is damaged , radio works ok though
The screen washers are weak , I suggest fitting a new pump
The yellow "check engine "light flicks on occasionally, then goes off , don't know why , engine runs perfectly, starts instantly, oil & water levels are spot on , 60 mile trip this week & all good,
1 rear door doesn't always join in with the central locking ,
There's a few spares in the back , handbook, manuals, sales brochure etc
Spare keys too
A few minor parking paint scuffs around the body but is generally very clean straight & tidy inside & out with no damage
Really good tyres all round
Large load area including rear facing child seats & a split tail gate function
I think it's a high spec version Lx?
Car is in Rainham Essex & sorned
