Originally an American armaments firm (the badge for the marque showed a pair of crossed cannons, evoking the company's history), Hotchkiss moved to France in the late 19th century. Hotchkiss became an automobile manufacturer in 1903 and by 1919 they were building several ranges of cars. From 1923, Hotchkiss settled on a single model: the 2, 413 cc Series AM. This AM Hotchkiss model has a cloth interior.
