Peregrine kitcar by 356 Sports. Ii is the only one and being the factory prototype - see end of listing for confirmation.
Extremely well assembled and finished. Built for the wedding car industry. Always garaged owned for over 8 years
Bentley front grill, Rolls-Royce headlights and dashboard instruments, bumpers, Jaguar E-type front seats, hand stitched genuine leather interior, glass fibre body, under-sealed strong Taxi chassis, very good condition.
She has size and presence unlike the small dimensions of other kitcars. Since the photos she has been fitted with higher profile tyres giving her an even more period appearance and purposefull stance. I have also made some removable sidescreens (see photo) that fulfill the purpose of keeping out the cold and the rain but not being aesthetically brilliant.
Also new higher profile tyres fitted recently that are more in keep with the 30s style. (seen in photo with sidescreens)
Based on a London Taxi, 2. 7 Nissan engine, automatic gearbox.
Registered as a Taxi in the log book but this may be easily changed to Peregrine if desired by filling in section 7 of the logbook regarding body changes, it has not bothered me. No SVA required as the original chassis and drive-train are unmodified and according to "Mad about kit cars" web site - details above

Der Peregrine war ein Entwurf von Paul Banham, den 356 Sports von 2005 bis 2006 vermarktete. Das offene Fahrzeug im Stil der 1930er Jahre ähnelte Modellen von Bentley der damaligen Zeit. Die Basis stellte das Taxi Austin FX 4 dar. Ein Bausatz kostete im ersten Jahr 6456 Pfund. Das Fahrzeug blieb ein Einzelstück.[1]
