Description
1980 Triumph TR7 which has been converted to V8, car runs and drives very well, sounds great, trim is very good, paint is ok too, hood good, generally very sound car although has been plated on the underside in the past and on the chassis etc. The V8 conversion has been done with many proper parts including stainless exhaust, uprated brakes etc, but the subframe is a 'home made' item, although engine all appears to be in a good position. The electrics all work as they should, but there is some wiring tidying up that the car would benefit from there are many wires taped up (neatly) within engine bay, and a few in cockpit area.
The V8 engine was rebuilt 3000 miles ago (2011) by RPI at a cost of £2750 and their build sheet is with it, it has fairly recently had a 4-barrel carb fitted to it also. Just recommissioned and a fresh mot put on car.
There is a fair bit of history with it including photo's of the car being fully stripped down and restored, which is when it was colour changed from green to white.
We have nearly 50 pictures of car we can send to you via one drive link, please email us and we will send them.
If you wish to view the car we are open 0900-1700 Monday to Friday, and 0900-1200 Saturday.
