For sale here is a superb early pull handle MGB Roadster that had its shell replaced in 1998 with a Heritage shell, which we have a copy of the certificate. Very rare that the shell is correct for a pull handle car, someone has gone through a lot of time and effort to retain the original pull handles on the car as I believe the correct A post was not an option, the reversing lights have also been deleted as correct on an early car. Still running its original 3 bearing crank engine which runs sweetly and has good oil pressure. Original steel wheels, much easier to keep clean than wires and I think suit the car. Early stowaway soft top is in excellent order, seats, carpets etc all in good order. Paintwork is superb and of course the panel gaps are all as they should be. Chrome work is excellent with the exception of one hub cap showing a little pitting. A modern radio has been fitted which I would remove but we will leave that up to the new owner. Correct “Banjo” type steering wheel.
MoT history going back to 2005, nice that it has been tested every year.
The car has been completely wax oiled underneath. I have removed some of this on the inner wheel arches to show how nice and rust free it is, we will re wax oil it before delivery along with a fresh 12-month MoT and a service.
