If you like to have the things that few others do, then this 993 could be the choice for you. Only 532 RHD Targas were produced and this is one of the 333 featuring the 6 speed manual 'box.
A Targa model has featured in the 911 line-up since 1967, but for the 993, Porsche introduced an updated version of the popular open-air variant. Instead of manually removing the roof section, the 1996 model saw the introduction of an all-electric sliding glass panel to bring the outside in; perfect for a sunny day. When the weather's not so great, close the roof and sunblind and you're immediately back in cosy coupe territory.
Supplied in August 1996 by AFN, the Official Porsche Centre in Reading, this Targa has seen regular maintenance over the years with 18 stamps in the service book, plus a large folder of invoices, receipts and MOT certificates.
This is a Porsche that has always been used and enjoyed, although the recent mileage would suggest it's been brought out on special occasions only (approx 3, 700 in the last 5 years).
The clutch was renewed less than 4, 000 miles ago and the last major service including spark plus was just 650 miles ago with another oil change 240 miles ago.
