The car is running well and mechanically sound. I have owned the car for 10 years and have improved it mechanically but keeping an oily rag appearance.
I have completely rebuilt the gearbox having a layshaft and second gear made. I have photos and video of these being made.
The clutch and all brake linings have been replaced. The carburettor has been overhauled. The car has both coil and magneto ignition and both are working. There are 6 plugs on the coil and 12 on the magneto which is the original splitdorf SS6-2 Twin spark. I had the Magneto refurbished a couple of years ago. So it will run on all 18 spark plugs if required.
I have recently completed a water pump overhauled using all new stainless bearings and new seals. A fresh oil change has also been completed this month including removing the sump for a deep clean. The car fires on the button and a run out yesterday for about an hour and a half to check the water pump and general running.
The engine was overhauled by a previous owner who was an experienced engineer , it runs very nicely and has transported me to many shows and days out over the past decade.
I have gone through all major components of this car during my ownership.
