This CX125 was my 'spare' bike and sometimes lent parts to my 'main' CX. Sadly the main CX was written off during an encounter with a van pulling an illegal U-turn. I'm downsizing my collection and have decided that the CX will have to go. They were only sold in low numbers in 1991 and 1992 and are a pretty rare sight in public, let alone on the roads. I recently reassabled it following a mediocre paint job (let down by the painter) and it's lacking all the decals. Those are all available from Italy. All of the bits that are often missing are there, hubcaps, pillion seat cover and the rubber trims that cover the body seams in the tank area. Mechanical spares are generally avilable from Bob Wright Gilera and it will come with a variety of parts recovered from the written off bike. It's UK registered and runs, but will need fettling before being used. Amongst the spares, it comes with the engine from the written off bike, which was running very crisply.
