It’s with a heavy heart I’m advertising my rare GTM Libra.
If you’re not familiar with the GTM Libra have a read online (GTM facebook groups are very active), but to summarise it’s a fully fibreglass monocoque, rear engined, RWD: in simple terms an Elise/ Exige, but with a boot and loads more room (I'm 6'5"), plus some extras (carpets, full size spare wheel, pop out roof panel), won’t break the bank and is great fun!
This car is a well built, fully SVA registered in 2005 on a J-reg (with 'GTM' private plate included), 1. 8 VVC engine.
It has:
Refurbished suspension all professionally set up and balanced,
Refurbished and rare to find Team Dynamics alloys with as new Michelin PS4 tyres,
Refurbished cooling system with upgraded VW Passat radiator (popular upgrade), Span fan with independent inline switch,
Refurbished fuel lines,
Pipercross induction system,
Upgraded ‘quick’ steering rack with removable and locking Momo steering wheel,
MGF Trophy spec (305mm) 4 pot front disc brakes,
Upgraded rear disc brakes and and calipers on the rear,
Corbeau seats (adjustable and super comfortable),
Dark grey/ red alcantara interior,
Momo pedals/ gear knob/ handbrake,
Remote central locking,
DAB stereo with multiple speakers and phone link,
10 months MOT,
~35000 miles odometer.
Comes with original brochures, build paperwork and a folder of history and receipts.
The bad bits are: slight graze on rear (see pic) and slight fading on the roof area but polishes ok, partial rub on drivers door (see pic), but totally useable (bespoke new hinges included if it’s gets a lot worse), I've spotted that x1 ball joint has a slight gaiter split- all clean, but new one included.
As always with a project, she owes me more- I waited for 12 months for this one and wish it was like this went I brought it!
