For sale is my 1998 Lancia Ypsilon. I’m the third owner in total, the second in the UK.
It had one owner in Italy until it was imported to the UK in 2019 where it belonged to a friend of the original owner. I bought it in Summer 2020 and have enjoyed using it as a runabout since then.

On the road and ready to go
It’s a top-spec LX with the 16v 1. 2-litre engine. It’s revvy, responsive, and runs just as it should. It has around 72, 500km or 45, 000 miles and passed its MoT this year with no advisories. At the same time as the MoT in March it received a full service.
Having lived most of its life in Milan, the Norwich Blue paintwork does have a few blemishes and scratches but it’s straight and shines up pretty well. The interior meanwhile consists of a lovely bit of faux walnut and full Alcantara upholstery. Best of all, it has the same instrument cluster as a Pagani Zonda!
Being the LX model, it gets central locking, electric windows, ice-cold air conditioning, electric mirrors, and that’s about it. It’s basic motoring but it really does bring a smile to your face, and I can’t think of any other 23-year old supermini that can turn half as many heads.
It also has an aftermarket battery isolator switch for extra security.
It’s got a superb history file, and a Lancia Classiche certificate from Italy. It even retains its Milan parking permit and its original body-colour grille (the chrome one it currently wears was a dealer option), both are included in the sale.
Overall it’s in excellent condition but would benefit from some touch-up paint in places, a wheel refurb, and possibly a suspension refresh in the near future.
It’s based on a Fiat Punto so parts are easy enough to get, and while it’s a rare car here in the UK, there’s huge following for them on the continent.
I’m happy to try and help with any questions. The car is in Manchester and it has 3 quarters of a tank of premium unleaded in it.
