Description
Triumph Tigress 250cc Scooter
Restored by myself in 2016 and running nicely
with very few miles since rebuild.
The machine was first registered by
the Triumph factory hence the" BUE" registration
of 09/ 08/ 1960 initially Supplied to the RAC depot
in Hounslow (for evaluation)- a copy of Triumphs
dispatch book and the Triumph owners clubs
dating certificates are included.
Aparantly the 4 stroke twin cylinder engine
was the final engine to which the great
Edward Turner had an input .
Riding the machine is a surprise - more like
a motorcycle - good handling, good brakes
a suitably powerful engine - easy starting etc.
Many period accessories have been obtained
ie, screen, rear rack and spare wheel carrier
including zipped tyre cover, tool tray,
whitewall Tyres( continental). tailored
floor mat, bar end mirror etc .
A short video is available showing the bikes
detail plus starting and running.
