The Italian firm Malanca started producing bikes in Bologna in 1956, mainly using 50cc engines from other manufacturers in their own frames. In 1973 they introduced their own 125cc twin that would become the backbone for the company. Like all Italian firms, the way to get noticed is in the world of racing, and Malanca were no exception with a long history of very successful, top class, small engined racing championships under their belt. The owner describes the bike as in good overall condition with everything working as it should. The engine runs very well with a top speed of over 80mph and with a good 5-speed gearbox, it is a fast bike with good braking and handling.
