Original shape London Taxi based on the Austin FX4 taxi cab. This is the last version and considered the best having the “bomb proof” Nissan 2. 7 engine and automatic gearbox disk brakes and power steering.
This is obviously a project and will need trailering away but was driven here and started easily before the battery went flat. With a battery and fresh fuel and filter no doubt it will run again. The brakes are non existent as the pedal is to the floor but may bleed up?
UPDATE : HAD TO MOVE THIS RECENTLY. PUT A BATTERY ON IT AND IT STARTED STRAIGHT AWAY AND MOVED UNDER ITS OWN POWER SO WILL LOAD EASILY! Battery is not included but available to load it with.
Sold for restoration or as spares or repair. The engine is relatively low mileage at 250k as these are capable of double that or more and on its own is worth what I’m asking for the whole car. These are getting rare and values increasing.
I did intend making this into a dropside pick up but it is one of those projects that I’m not going to get around to and am now clearing my yard at home for home improvements.
