For sale it this one of only 460 built three wheelers by the small English sports car manufacturer BRA Motor Works, which was based in Doncaster in the county of South Yorkshire. In its early days, i. e. around 1981 up to and including 2007, BRA also built replicas of AC Cobras, among other things. The three wheeler offered here with the internal company name "BRA CV 3" currently has an English registration (V5-Doc.) and is / was registered in the UK as a "classic vehicle" (see black org. license plate). In contrast to the three wheeler from Lomax, the BRA CV 3 has a complete aluminum body, apart from the GRP tailgate, which is not painted, but in this case foiled. Otherwise the structure and the technology are almost identical. Because the BRA CV3 also got its "donor heart" from an old 2CV with 29 HP and, due to its very low weight of just 500 kg, reaches a top speed of approx. 140 km / h. In such a vehicle, of course, extremely exciting, whether amateur or professional. Everyone has fun here!
As with the competitor, the BRA CV3 is only cooled with the airstream, which of course is not a problem at all due to the exposed position of the engine and works very well. The car is fully operational and has already been put through its paces by us. 100 ~ 120 km / h are no problem at all and the driving is amazing.
As the current photos show, the specimen is in a pretty good overall condition and also has some new parts such as the Mountney GT wooden steering wheel, new spoked rims + spare wheel and tires. The bench has also been reupholstered and is free of patina or damage.
