Reluctantly offered for sale is my 1993 Proton 1. 3 GLS Saloon which is nicely finished in Gold / Autumn Bronze / Light Brown.
I have had this car as part of my collection since mid-2020 after buying it from the family of the original owner who bought it from new.
Supplied by Holmwood Motors in the Lea Valley the car has covered just 41, 940 and retails all its original features including rear number plate and dealer stickers.
In my ownership, it has been lovingly cleaned, treated, serviced and enjoyed. I know these cars very well and am very passionate about them, winning a national concours show with one earlier this year. (I know right!)
Mechanically the car is brilliant, drives very well and has a recent 'advisory free' MOT certificate.
Cosmetically very well presented with a few minor dings and dents that you would come to expect from a 28-year-old car, the majority of these would be easy to remove by a local 'dent doctor'. There are some very small patches of surface corrosion in the door shut kick plates that I am mentioning for disclosure purposes only but underneath is exceptionally solid and entirely rust-free.
The interior is in well looked after condition with hardly any wear on the passenger or rear bench seats, there Is some wear to the driver's seat.
The only downside I feel is worth mentioning is that the sunroof seal has failed completely and would benefit from either a new seal or sealing up completely as yes (like all cars ruined with an aftermarket sunroof sales pitch) ... it leaks, all be it is still totally functional.
A genuine reason for sale which has forced me to downsize a large classic car collection.
