Commer 1962 highroof
This cool commer was bought new by automotive engineer George Chubaty to pull his 1962 Lotus Seven factory race car.
He traveled up and down the east coast in the US with his race team.
They sleep in the back of the commer which is still in tact as it was back in the days with the beds present
He had lots of success even receiving a trophy at the presidents cup from John F. Kennedy.
A very rare car with great history, the engine has been rebuild in 2019 and ran when parked a year ago.
There is plenty of welding to do to call it a serieus project, but the cool factor and history is amazing.
