This lovely old 80’s bus was bought as a summer project that turned in to a longer-term labour of love that is now for sale…here are some details!
This is the very rare 2. 8 “PRV” (Peugeot Renault Volvo) V6, in this version without catalyst, and producing a heady 170BHP; a variant of the same engine powered the DeLorean no less! Set cruise control to 88mph and see what happens eh? In fairness she can move…very unbecoming for a wafter like this but fun all the same.
Having sat unloved since 2012 as the former owner passed away, and left it to his son, I bought it as a non-starter “needing a fuel pump”.
The car has no rot, it’s completely rust-free underneath, battery trays are good, the paintwork is very good overall with wear in line with age and mileage. I've repaired some lacquer peel on the bonnet and I'd probably look to get that professionally repainted if I were keeping the car; it's not bad but it's obviously not a paintshop repair...
The car has obviously been loved by only 3 long-term owners. Only 129000 miles too over 33 years, barely run in.

• New Radiator and top hose
• Headliner Fabric and adhesive

• Radio Suppression (Fuel Injection) Relay
Car is fully serviced, MOT’d till November 2022 and comes with a full tank of Super Unleaded! Loads of invoices, comprehensive history with original stamped book pack, ready to enjoy and improve. I also have a box of useful parts which will come with the car.
To save you having to find this out as a prospective buyer, of course a classic of this age isn't perfect. Here are some opportunities for improvement:
• The fuel gauge is stuck on full. I just keep it brimmed.
• Heated seats don’t seem to work but not investigated.
• The power steering works well but takes a few seconds to come to life on the first journey.
• Air con not working but to be honest I’ve never tried gassing it.
• I have not rectified all the MOT advisories - there’s nothing major left, namely handbrake cable fray, one brake hose deterioration, exhaust hanger missing.
• The bonnet repair as mentioned above.
Of course, sold as seen, how could it be anything else…
I've priced it in-between the other examples on this site based on mileage, history and condition. However happy to hear offers.
