With just 150 examples produced for a global market, the GT8 was intended as the ultimate expression of Aston Martins hugely successful V8 Vantage.

Offered with a choice of either manual or Sportshift transmission, GT8 featured very little in common with its more-standard Vantage sibling. With each body panel bespoke and specific to the GT8 and crafted from carbon-fibre, the styling drew heavily on Aston Martins success on-track with their immense GTE race version of the Vantage. With its considerably wider and vented arches and lower stance with front splitters and a huge carbon fibre rear wing, GT8 resembles more race car than road car and proves the old adage that ‘racing does indeed improve the breed’.

This exceptionally low mileage example was ordered and specified by its current keeper and remains in immaculate condition as you would expect throughout. Complete with a full Aston Martin service history from the supplying dealer, the most recent service and MOT having just been completed, this GT8 is offered with the remaining balance of an extended Aston Martin factory warranty.

With owners invited to specify options for their GT8 at Aston Martins in-house design studio, the owner chose his specification with the Halo Paint scheme at huge expense to match the launch edition GT12. The Californian Poppy paint accents are further mirrored with Orange Coarse stitching to the interior environment.

With full PPF paint protection applied from new, the main bonnet and roof accents in Orange and Gulf livery are completely removable and photographs are available should anyone wish to see the ‘before and after’ effects.

GT8 represents the final and ultimate development of their most popular and successful model to date before the use of AMG derived powerplants. No. 16 of just 90 UK right hand drive examples and the only GT8 to be personally signed off by Aston Martin CEO at the time, Andy Palmer, this example is in as new condition throughout and deserves inspection.
