Description
This is a rare kawasaki ZXR750R-K1, fully restored 8 years ago in the French Homologation red, white and green colours, and used infrequently - 700 miles in 7 years, presently 988 miles!! It's not concourse as a trailer queen but, as I'm not as supple as I use to be due to with the race position, I'm unfortunately not using it as it should be ridden and now up for sale.
It's presently running with "J" cv carbs, I have the the Keihin 39mm flat slide carbs (FCR) and cables supplied with the bike, and muzzy race exhaust (micron supplied too for MoT!!). All the std K features are fitted, to go with the 121 bhp, such as: the revised camshafts, close ratio gearbox, original Ohlin rear shock (refreshed during restoration), magnesium engine covers, single seat unit, hand welded aluminium fuel tank and the 41mm diameter fully adjustable front forks (compared to 43mm for the J, for weight saving!).
The bike came as an unregistered basket case and without the original speedo, hence the low mileage, and the speedo fitted came with 270 miles from a guy who raced these for Bristol Kawasaki back in the day.
As said, the bike isn't concourse but has had little use over the last 8yrs since restoration, taxed and MoT'd every year, and hence I've priced the bike accordingly.
Seeing the bike, and hearing the muzzy, in the flesh is advised.
