Description
Superb Kawasaki KZ650B2. registered in California in March 1979 (US documents supplied) and imported into the UK in 2001. It is on an age related plate (S reg) and registered as a Historic vehicle.
At approx 12000miles , it was subject to a complete and thorough restoration. Frame powder coated, original Takasago wheels rechromed , hubs blasted and stainless spokes fitted. Engine and carbs vapour blasted by Steve Smethurst and rebuilt. Everything replated, repainted and rechromed to as new condition, with many stainless fasteners throughout. Many new NOS parts fitted inc loom, brake disc, caliper, hoses alternator and seat. A hand made stainless steel replica exhaust system by OSS fitted shortly after.
I have owned this bike for 12 years and it's one of the best I've seen. V5 is in my name. Comes complete with extensive receipts, mot's and immaculate owners manual.
The bike now has 15500 miles on it and has just had a top end refresh as the valve stem seals had hardened. This bike rides like it looks.... lovely !
