Motorised tricycles are nothing new, a very popular means of transport in the early 1900s and then again in the 1970s and now they come in all shapes and sizes. With so many kits and parts on the market, it gives the owners and builders flexibility to build or alter existing trikes to suit their own requirements and style.
This bike is built around the Kawasaki GT 750, that offered maintenance free, shaft drive final transmission and a good reliable engine that was rubber mounted, making it a very smooth power-plant. It is believed to have been converted to a trike in the late 1990s as an advertisement and promotional show bike (picture on file) in Gulf Oil livery. The Gulf Oil colour scheme was removed prior to the current owner purchasing the bike who now describes the trike as, in good average condition, it starts, runs and all the electrics work. It will require some finishing in the bodywork and seating department prior to going back on the road as a fully finished trike and will allow the new owner to personalise it as they see fit.
